Photovoltaics: crystalline

In crystalline silicon, a set of poly- or mono-crystalline cells is encapsulated between a glass front sheet and a usually polymer backing. The main property of the glass front sheet is to permit the highest transmission possible over the relevant spectrum.

To this end, AGC Solar provides a range of extra clear glass, float or patterned, with or without anti-reflective coating.
